How it all started...

In the early 2000s while in Faith International Training School in New Jersey,  I was involved  in children's and prison ministry, and was teaching several home Bible followships in and around my community. I had an encounter with a young man at one of the prison facilities that had me asking God what more I could do to help these young men with recidivism.
One day on my way home from ministering at one of the facilities, I was feeling defeated, and in that moment God said to me, "You can change the life of another with the light I lit inside of you." In that moment Lamplighters Youth Membership was born. God gave me favor with the chaplains at the facilities, and I was given access to meet with the youths at the transitional facility to mentor and offer advice to them. He also opened the door for me to minister at the Youth Teen Challenge program at Fort Dix military base in New Jersey.
The young people's lives were being impacted and changed to the glory of God. Several youths surrendered their lives to Jesus in these facilities, and the experience changed my view of life completely. However, in the latter part of 2010,  after visiting a friend in Fort Mill, SC, I began to seek God's advice concerning a move to South Carolina. He said to me,  "Procrastination is the greatest hinderance to a man's forward momentum. If you are going to go, just go; if you are going to stay, just stay; but don't procrastinate."
In January 2011, I moved to South Carolina and immediately got involved in the Department of Juvenile Justice prison in Columbia, South Carolina, continuing to minister to the young people at the facility. God gave me favor to minister at some of the local churches in  my area and that opened my eyes to see the hunger that the people had for more of the Word. Then, the Holy Spirit said it's time to transition to meet the needs not only of the youth but the adults also.
In 2012 Lamplighters Ministries Worship Center was born, and I started to host Bible studies in my community. I began speaking to the youth at a local afterschool program and was involved in the youth ministry in the local church.
In 2020, while praying for the doors of the church to open back up so I could preach, God said to me "You are waiting on the doors of the church to open for you and I have opened up the world to you." I realized in that moment that I could post videos on social media. I then enrolled in Bible Enrichment School of Theology online to further my education and graduated in 2022, with a degree in Christian ministry.  My desire is to fulfill the will of God for my life and to make an impact in the lives of others to the glory of God.
