Misguided Zeal

Zeal is not inherently good or bad; it depends on it's direction and motivation. Godly zeal seeks to understand God's will and obey it. True zeal flows from love, not pride, anger or personal ambition. Zeal that is not controlled by the Spirit can lead to rash decisions and destructive behavior.
